Hello!
My name is Siobhan and I’m a Brit living abroad in Bangui, Central African Republic.
I inherited a passion for fabrics and sewing from my brilliant and gifted Granny, who always made my clothes growing up. A few years ago I resolved to find the time and patience to practice techniques, to enjoy the creative process and to just keep sewing.
Since then sewing has become a part of life, it’s a wonderful creative outlet, a way of relaxing and centering, and a way to connect with people. I love to see the way textiles and sewing are used by different communities in the places that I live.
